Picture this: You have an awesome background picture on your desktop but you can't see half of it because your icon labels cover it up! Setting the background color doesn't help...so, what are you going to do? That is were this program will help. It will remove all the ugly opaque text boxes that appear under the icons on your desktop.

Uninstall:
To remove Simply Transparent from your computer simply go to your control panel. Then open the 'Add/Remove Programs' applet. When the applet opens select 'Simply Transparent' in the list of installed applications, then just click the 'Remove' button.
License of use:
I don't like those programs that charge you money to do some simple thing...so, I won't do that to you :-) But, I would appreciate your support so I may continue to create utilities like this one. Known Issues:
Rarely icons may not reappear when they should. A quick work around is to press F5 or select Refresh in the menu from a right-click on the desktop
Converting my wallpaper to a Windows Bitmap (BMP)
Open Internet Explorer and then select the menu option File->Open. Now click "Browse". In this new window navigate to your file and double click it.(or highlight it and then click the "Open" button) Once you have the image loaded into Internet Explorer right click it and select "Save Picture As...". This will bring up a window that looks like the window you used to open the file. In this window, there is a drop-down list box with file type options. Click the down arrow on this box and select "Bitmap (*.BMP)". Finally navigate to the place you want to put it, (most likely it will put it were the original is) and select Save. Now you have a second copy of your image in a Bitmap format which can be used as a wallpaper with out needing that pesky "Show Web Content" feature.
